Lincoln is home to a variety of mouth-watering foods. People will not run out of places to go if they are looking for something to fill their stomach. Here are some of the best restaurants in Lincoln, NE that are around Lincoln Tree Service on Dunn Ave.
The Oven Cellar
If you are craving for Indian food, The Oven Cellar is the place to go. The restaurant offers traditional Indian cuisine, so if you are looking for a unique Indian taste, you might be disappointed because there are also other Indian restaurants in town. However, there is no doubt that The Oven offers sumptuous food plus, The Cellar offers great wine that tastes better than what other offers in town. Their Chicken Tikka Madras still gets the most favorite dish award in this fun restaurant.
The Dish can be the first on the list because generally, it has better tasting food than The Oven. However, Oven offers a fun overall experience that is why it stays on top. If you are thinking of going to Dish, lunchtime is the best time to visit because they offer chilled soup that tastes really amazing. But if you happen to find yourself hungry at night time, they also have fantastic dinner entrees.
Copal also did some renovation in 2018. They installed more tables and chairs to cater to the growing number of guests who go there to eat. They are known for their unique Mexican cuisine. You will not find a Mexican dish in the area as good as what Copal offers. Duck tamales will definitely quench your good food craving.
Venue and Piedmont Bistro
Piedmont Bistro is owned by the Venue. Also, they have an almost similar menu, so they can be grouped together. Both are worth a try because of the variety of food they serve. The Venue is quite impressive when it comes to their creativity and variety although their blackened cream sauce can be too salty for my palette. Line-caught halibut is one of their most delicious dishes on the menu.
JTK has recently redesigned their interior which made it look even more refreshing. They have more Asian cuisines available in their menu now than it does in the previous years. What didn't change is the unique and refreshing ambiance the place offers, and of course the good food. Their braised leg of lamb is still the best among their sumptuous menu.
The Parthenon boasts of their traditional Greek favorites. They continue to come up with creative and delicious dishes all the time. They have wine dinners that are just awesome and fun. The char fish special will always make the Parthenon one of the best restaurants in Lincoln.
You can never go wrong with Yia Yia's pizza and a fantastic list of curated beer. Their place also has this cool vibe which makes it really inviting. It is one of those places you will be drawn to visit. Try a slice of the Polynesian and you will know what I am talking about.
